An age-friendly life experience center was opened in SIP on Dec 26, in tandem with the launch of the Silver Economy OPC Incubation Program.

Spanning approximately 1,000 square meters across two floors within SIP Social Welfare Center, the center innovatively integrates age-friendly product exhibition with business incubation. It has already attracted 12 firms focusing on AI-powered robotics, Internet-based healthcare and smart safety technologies.
Inside, themed exhibition zones showcase technological advancements in elderly care, with immersive mock-ups of living spaces such as bedrooms and bathrooms highlighting age-friendly designs and smart assistive devices.

The Silver Economy OPC Incubation Program provides life-cycle support for innovators devoted to AI-powered elderly care solutions, covering supply-demand matching, project incubation, financing and partnering.

The opening ceremony incorporated a show where innovative age-friendly products created by companies in SIP over the past year were shown.
The 2026 product demand plan was announced, focusing on products for elderly and disability assistance, smart living, leisure and recreation, health maintenance and safety monitoring, inviting R&D teams to collaborate with SIP in creating new benchmarks for smart elderly care.
