Standard Testing Group Co Ltd, which is referred as “Standard Group” in short, signed the agreement on Aug 5 to set up a regional business headquarters and life science industrial base in SIP.

Standard Group is a domestic leading private enterprise providing comprehensive testing services for clients in the fields of biomedicine and life science, ecological environment, and industry and trade, with professional laboratories distributed across the country.

The project marks a significant step that the group has taken to expand its presence in the Yangtze River Delta. With high-standard labs, it will provide analysis, testing, consulting and certification services for research and development of life science, innovative drugs, medical devices and high-end equipment manufacturing.

The project will break ground early next year and is expected to come into operation in 2027.
