SIP held a work conference on Sept 30 to look back on work related to the development of higher education institutions and allocate tasks for deeper integration of higher education and SIP’s development.

The conference highlighted the requirements for better safety and security management at higher education institutions, stronger support that higher education institutions should give for scientific and technological innovation and talent development, and accelerated commercialization of higher education institutions’ research achievements.

The Bureau for Cooperative Development of Higher Education Institutions of Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District gave an account of the development of higher education institutions in SIP so far this year, and the representatives from the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research of the University of Science and Technology of China, Suzhou Academy of Xi’an Jiaotong University and other institutions gave introductions to these institutions’ conditions.
