Sponsored by SIP Culture, Sports and Tourism Office and organized by SIP Public Cultural Center ? SIP Cultural Centre, a special show was staged in SIP on Jan 9, showcasing local residents’ talents in performing art.

In the event, a number of troupes composed of local art enthusiasts who had attended training at SIP Cultural Centre staged diverse performances including award-winning dances of traditional and modern styles and poetry recitation. These performances demonstrated SIP’s achievements in encouraging and helping local residents to discover, improve and showcase their artistic talents.

In addition to the performances, activities highlighting folk customs related to the Chinese Spring Festival (also known as Chinese New Year) were held. Several calligraphers wrote Spring Festival couplets for the participants, and traditional handicrafts and creative artistic designs were shown.
