A project roadshow was held in Nanopolis Suzhou in SIP on Jan 9, presenting 24 outstanding innovation projects from 15 joint R&D organizations which refer to innovation institutions established under collaboration between SIP authorities, higher education institutions, research institutes and enterprises.

In recent years, SIP has continuously innovated its management mechanism for joint R&D organizations to promote efficient concentration of innovation resources and accelerate commercialization of R&D outcomes.

At the event, the SIP Joint R&D Organizations Sci-Tech and Industrial Innovation Integration Community was established. It will serve as a bridge between joint R&D organizations, project teams and investors to help accelerate commercialization of cutting-edge technologies.


A total of 24 projects from 15 joint R&D organizations, featuring breakthroughs in biomedicine, AI, high-end manufacturing, new materials and new-generation information technology, were presented. These projects demonstrate great potential in industrialization, according to the jury panel.

At the event, Acela Micro, a microelectronics company, recalled its development trajectory under SIP’s integrated incubation and acceleration mode, and the Institute of Intelligent Computing Technology (IICT), Suzhou, CAS, an innovative R&D organization in SIP, shared its practices in transferring and transforming research achievements.
