SIP unveiled the new plan for projects concerning people’s well-being on Jan 6, promising to carry out 35 projects in nine categories to improve the quality of local residents’ lives and increase their sense of happiness.

For education, six school building and renovation projects will be implemented and various public education programs will be carried out.
For cultural experiences, the Suzhou Museum of Contemporary Art will be opened and diverse cultural events held.
To ensure better medical and health services for local residents, SIP will continuously promote the construction of the new facility of Weiting Community Health Center and organize a series of public first-aid skill training sessions. Meanwhile, it will enhance help to people suffering difficulties in affording medical expenses.
Other projects cover landscaping and renovation for improvement of environment, residential buildings and traffic conditions, services tailored for university graduates to land jobs and remote food safety supervision.
