The 7th “Marvelous SIP” Culture and Art Travel Festival kicked off in SIP on Aug 22, consisting of a series of events that will last till mid-November for the participants to enjoy SIP’s abundant, unique tourist attractions integrated with diversified cultural and artistic experiences.

At the opening ceremony, SIP Culture, Sports and Tourism Office released the Suzhou Industrial Park Panoramic Hand-painted Tourism Map, which provides comprehensive information about location of SIP’s tourist attractions, characteristic travel routes, hotels, restaurants, etc.

SIP’s upgraded “Tour Around Cards (Zhuan Zhuan Ka)”, which enable non-local tourists to enjoy tailored discounts and convenience when traveling around Jinji and Yangcheng lakes, were unveiled.

The award ceremony of the 2025 “Vigorous SIP” Short Videos Competition, which was started in March to solicit short videos depicting SIP’s vitality, was held, with 24 creators receiving trophies.

A painting campaign and a photo collection campaign were launched concurrently, encouraging locals and tourists to record SIP with their pens or through their lenses.

An exhibition was opened at the Urban Art Space at the same time, showcasing the latest achievements that SIP has made in integrating business, tourism, culture, sports and exhibitions.

A fair kicked off, bringing together products from over 20 hotels and cultural tourism companies, including desserts, drinks and handiworks inspired by local intangible cultural heritage.

Two travel routes featuring iconic tourist attractions around Jinji and Yangcheng lakes were introduced and experienced by 30 citizens and tourists.
